Spread the Love International
We are a branch of the organization Spread The Love. Spread The Love Movement is essentially an organization that tackles local issues by helping people find their passions and using them in a positive way. Because STL was set up to tackle local issues, we decided to set up Spread The Love International. STLI will help spread awareness and raise funds for issues such as child soldiers, wars, poverty, and so much more. We are dedicated to STL and we are at this point in time focusing most of our efforts on establishing STL as an organization. Does that mean we can't make a difference internationally in the mean timel? HECK NO.
STLI PROUDLY BRINGS YOU OUR FIRST CAMPAIGN. We will be raising money for an orphanage in Kenya called Zawadi La Tumaini. The founder of this orphanage would like to implement a musical therapy program, in which the children will be able to find common ground with their new surroundings through music. We all know that it is very hard to adapt to certain situations, and for many of us, the arts is our way out of that awkward position and into our comfort zones. We would like to help these orphans achieve this level of comfort. The orphanage's website is as follows:
We will be taking the money over to Kenya to buy locally made instruments, which will help the locals of a community, and we want to be able to preserve the rich culture that Kenyans have. This campaign is on the DL so the founder of the orphanage cannot find out about our campaign until we surprise her with the money!
Our goal is to reach $1000 AT LEAST which is SO do able with all the support we have.
